En el a\u00f1o acad\u00e9mico 2016-17, SPEF atendi\u00f3 directamente a 21 escuelas p\u00fablicas de Stamford, distribuy\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 5000 libros nuevos y brind\u00f3 tutor\u00eda a 884 estudiantes. La adici\u00f3n de estos tres nuevos programas permite que SPEF llegue a m\u00e1s estudiantes en la comunidad de Stamford de maneras innovadoras. El nuevo Programa de Estudiantes-Atletas de SPEF brindar\u00e1 apoyo acad\u00e9mico a los estudiantes-atletas de la Escuela Secundaria Stamford y la Escuela Secundaria Westhill. Se apoyar\u00e1 a aproximadamente 60 estudiantes-atletas de cada escuela secundaria.
