Un representante de Neighbors Link estar\u00e1 recibiendo las donaciones en nombre de las familias. Este proyecto se lleva a la comunidad a trav\u00e9s del programa de Aprendizaje y Servicio de la Fundaci\u00f3n de Educaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica de Stamford (SPEF) y es una colaboraci\u00f3n entre SPEF, 5<sup>el<\/sup> estudiantes de grado de la Escuela Primaria Newfield y mentores de UConn. Las donaciones son proporcionadas por Toys for Tots, Fairway Market, Palmwich, Target, Eden Farms Nursery &amp; Garden Center, estudiantes de UConn-Stamford y otros donantes an\u00f3nimos. Monica Miller-Smith en UConn y se asocia con la escuela para brindar tutor\u00eda a estudiantes de quinto y tercer grado en las escuelas primarias Newfield y Hart. El programa en estas escuelas involucra a los estudiantes de UConn de dos cursos, &quot;La Asociaci\u00f3n de la escuela familiar&quot; y &quot;Familias de bajos ingresos&quot;, ambos impartidos por la Dra. Miller-Smith. Este a\u00f1o, los estudiantes universitarios sirven como mentores de aproximadamente 170 estudiantes de primaria.
