Welcome to the Stamford Public Education Foundation

At the Stamford Public Education Foundation (SPEF), our mission is to promote excellence in Stamford Public Schools (SPS) through community collaboration and philanthropy. Through its activities, the Foundation will positively impact every SPS student's learning experience to help them achieve their full potential.
As a Local Education Foundation, and a member of the national Public Education Network, SPEF works effectively at multiple levels. We have strong and positive ties to the central office and the Superintendent, school board members, local principals and teachers, the business community, parents and community groups. Our primary role is to leverage these relationships to strengthen Stamford's public education system through funding and volunteer resources.
